Privacy notice

This website collects very little. There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. This notice explains the little we do process.

Who we are

MagiChain Security (“we”), based in Tel Aviv, Israel, is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What we collect, and why

When you request access or email us

The “Get a demo” form opens your own email app with a message to us; the website itself does not store what you type. When you send it, or write to [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if your email app includes it, and whatever you write.

  • Why: to reply to you, to arrange a demo, discuss a design partnership, and to handle security reports.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and security reports (Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you; we only see totals.

  • Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how many people use it (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and similar storage

We set no cookies. If you switch the site to dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device (in “local storage”); it is never sent to us. Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain, so no third party sees your visit through them.

Who processes your data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security and visit statistics.
  • Zoho Corporation: our email provider, which stores the emails you send us.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

International transfers

We are based in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States; where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and access requests for as long as we are in contact with you, and delete them no later than 24 months after our last exchange unless we have started working together. Cloudflare keeps technical logs for a short period set by its own policies.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the UK, the GDPR (or UK GDPR) gives you the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended, also applies to us and gives you the right to review and correct information held about you.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority in the EU or UK, or to Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority.

Changes

If we start collecting anything new, for example through an online form service, we will update this notice first and change the date above.
